Framing Life: Streets of Pushkar
Debrani Das is a practitioner of street photography, and lives in Kolkata, India. She is a member of Unexposed Collective, a community for female street photographers. She won Artist Residency organized by Women Street Photographers and presently serves as a juror of the artist residency open call 2025 by the same.
Her works have been published in many prestigious books and magazines like WomenStreet Photographer, Reclaim The Street, FujiLove Magazine, Street Sweeper Magazine, Eyeshot Magazine etc. She has been part of many photo festivals and has exhibited worldwide including India, New York, California, London, Rome, Australia , etc.
She finds Street photography as a way to communicate to the outer world in a muted way and the process of creating street photographs as meditative .
